MumsTheWord.com was created
in order to bring some of the best natural and organic pregnancy product ranges
to mums-to-be and their newborn babies. When we started trading in 2004, our
initial focus was on skincare, beauty and well-being products, featuring product
ranges that were produced specifically for pregnant women, and our collections
now offer one of the widest ranges of maternity skincare products available
anywhere in the UK.
But that's not all we do now!
Our goal is to provide you with the most comprehensive range of maternity products
to help you through every stage of your pregnancy, from conception to birth,
from morning sickness to breastfeeding, from stretchmarks to baby massage and
everything else in between.
We want to give you a choice in what you buy for you and your baby.
We know that this pregnancy is a unique experience for you, whether you are
a first time mum-to-be or you are having your third baby, and what works for
your friend, sister or NCT group may not work for you, so we don't stock just
a single morning sickness remedy, we stock 14. Who else offers you 19 different
stretchmark creams or 6 different perineal massage oils? And when it comes to
breastfeeding we have over 50 different products including breastpumps, nipple
creams, storage bags, breast pads and nursing necklaces for you to choose from.
Although most of the cosmetic products featured are natural or organic, not
all of them are. The choice is very much yours to decide which product suits
your lifestyle best. However, because all the products have been developed specifically
for pregnant women you can have confidence that they are all suitable for you
during this very special time of your life.
We believe in product transparency, and so we have published the ingredients of all the products on the site alongside their general product descriptions, allowing you to make a fully informed choice before that product is delivered to your door. We will not try to tell you that one product is better than another for you, we are not qualified healthcare professionals, and we do not know about your individual circumstances. We do recommend that if you have any worries or anxieties about using any particular product that you discuss them with your GP, midwife or other healthcare professional.
MumsTheWord is not just about shopping (although we hope you will find lots to buy here!) it is also about providing you with information about subjects that are important, educational, useful or just plain fun for you while you are pregnant.
